Built to make things right

Quality Contract Manufacturing has been machining and fabricating parts for commercial and government clients since 1992.

Three decades of precision work

Quality Contract Manufacturing was founded in 1992 in Louisburg, North Carolina — about 30 minutes north of Raleigh. Now a second-generation, owner-operated shop, we've been a reliable source for machined parts, weldments, and fabricated assemblies for commercial and government customers for over three decades.

Our team includes a degreed welding engineer who leads our welding program — bringing real engineering depth to procedure development, process qualification, and quality control. It's a level of technical capability that sets us apart from typical job shops.

Beyond contract manufacturing, we specialize in repairing and rebuilding heavy equipment, manufacturing OEM replacement components built to print, and custom machine design and build — from concept to installation, with operator training and field service contracts available.

We keep everything under one roof: turning, milling, welding, forming, grinding, heat treating, and inspection. All processes in-house — faster turnaround, tighter quality control, and a single point of accountability for every job.

Bashir Jabbour

Bashir grew up in the shop his father opened in 1992 — spending summers in the office as a kid watching him design parts in SolidWorks, then learning the trade on the production floor at QCM, running machines, managing contracts, and keeping quality tight on high-volume work for clients like Bosch. He studied electrical and automation systems technology, went on to earn his finance degree from NC State, and spent time at SAS and JPMorgan Chase before shifting into hardware product development at an ag-tech startup, where he led engineering teams from concept through commissioning and coordinated manufacturing operations globally. After years of building things in other industries, he came back to run the same shop he grew up in — second generation, same building, same standard of work.

Greg Jonker

Greg brings a rare combination of hands-on trades experience and high-level business strategy to the shop floor. He started welding and fabricating in high school, working in maintenance and structural steel at a large horticultural operation before earning his B.S. in Welding Engineering from Ferris State University — one of the few accredited welding engineering programs in the country. He went on to work as a Pipeline Welding Engineer at Stanley Black & Decker and Senior Welding Engineer at Woodward, where he spent years solving manufacturing problems in the field and on production lines. He later earned his MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management and spent three years as an Industrials Strategy Consultant at McKinsey, advising manufacturers on operations and growth strategy, before joining Ford as a Strategy Group Manager. Greg co-founded QCM to get back to what he does best — building things, solving hard problems, and delivering for customers who need it done right.
